High Jack started in a classroom, ended on itch.io, and lasted five weeks. It's a 2.5D platformer built for the Design Games Jam course at Bezalel — a brief that asked teams to take a familiar story and make it strange again.
The familiar story: Jack and the Beanstalk. The strange version: the beans talk back. What climbs out of the soil isn't a beanstalk so much as a chorus — a stack of opinions, threats, jokes and small philosophical objections, growing toward a sky that may or may not contain a giant.
Built end-to-end with a small team — programmers, animators, and me on environment art and visual identity. Game jams are short, loud, and unforgiving; this one came together because everyone showed up, traded jobs, and trusted the bean.
The game is playable on itch.io. The web build runs in any modern browser — no install, just click and climb.

High Jack was a collaborative effort. Programmers and animators carried the systems and the motion; I built the environments and the look. Game jams are short and loud — this one worked because everyone trusted the bean.
